Hope you are all doing well and soaking every little bit of this wonderful Summer!
Although the color palette for Altenew challenge this month is a bit tricky, I was still very inspired to enter. Not only because anything that Erum creates is always amazing and inspiring, but also because I wanted to use my new goodies :). I didn’t have to think much, as the card almost builds itself… I die cut the Spring Shower cover panel twice, one blended with Distress inks based on the color scheme – vibrant blue, orange and green – and the other one was left in white. I just love the white “lacy” look behind the colored panel.
I used a vellum card base that contributes also to the lacy look.
The dotted rectangle on the back of the card base has an opening on top, so that a few words can be added by sliding a small piece of paper inside this “pocket”. Fun stuff – If you heat emboss some words in white on a piece of vellum, the message will show here and there through the openings in the front card. I didn’t take a photo, but I tried, and I can assure that it looks cool!
I’m adding this card to Altenew August Inspiration Challenge
