Hi everyone!

I have just a quick share today. In 2015, my husband and I enjoyed a few days off to travel in our country. One of the places we visited was the small village of Piódão, also known as Nativity Village. Almost all houses are made of shale with slate roofs and blue doors, which provides a very unique and attractive look.

I wanted to make an album for quite some time, so today I made the front cover, following a sketch of Scrapogoliki current challenge… the finished album will come later :). The cover measures 4” x 4”1/2 and the inside will be composed of 3” x 4” PL cards and photos. Then you’ll be able to have a better understanding of the decoration on the cover.

I kept it almost monochromatic, corresponding to the real village.

NBUS Challenge #12 – Anything Goes

Stamps: LZ – Magnolia Blossoms (NBUS); PTI – Petite Places: Walk in the Park.

Dies: PTI – Petite Places: Holiday Lane.

NOTE – I forgot to identify the NBUS I was using in my previous entry. I apologize for that fail, Darnell :). LZ – Mysterious Fox was the NBUS.

Please forgive the poor quality picture.

Thank you for stopping by.

Your mini album cover is so unique and remarkable, Cris! That must have been so fun to make after your day to the village ~ it’s perfect! (Great dried flowers, too!) Thank you so much for playing again in my NBUS Challenge #12!! Hugs, Darnell

I am so sorry to be commenting so late on this, dear friend – somehow the page never loaded – I kept trying for 3-4 days, not sure what the problem was! But now the page loaded, and here I am!
Looks like a neat little house and a wonderful cover for an album! Can’t wait to see how you add the insides.. it will be wonderful, cover to cover!!
