Hi everyone!

I’ve been busy (re)organizing all the stuff I have, and I plan to go a little bit further, meaning I want to do some improvement in my craft room: paint the furniture, new curtains… and adjust things as I go. This will practically take most of the summer… including summer holidays :D.

However, I had some time to make a few projects that I will be sharing in the next days. Today I have an OoCZ, which is fast becoming ICZ (In Comfort Zone). I just LOVE the possibility of using organic, natural elements, and materials that otherwise would end up in the garbage. I’m not trying to be fundamentalist, I use dies, 3D elements and patterned papers anyway, but I feel the responsibility to reduce my environmental footprint, while creating. Here is my card for today:

Besides some leftover cardboard, kraft paper from packaging, other illustrated papers, I also used real grass (in the shape of a heart) and other natural elements. The pattern papers are from Prima (ferns, book, butterflies), except the sentiment, which is from Fabrika Decoru. The white die cut flowers are Tim Holtz “Wildflowers”.

I made an origami beetle from kraft paper, following the instructions on this video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmL_-Ik5fDI. It’s not perfect by any means, and I had to use a little bit of glue, because this thin kraft paper won’t keep the creases in place, as it does when using origami paper, but I enjoyed the process anyway.

Just one more detail… I added a few Nuvo morning dew drops, as it was one of 3 mandatory items to choose from, in a list of possible items.

I’m entering the very first Eco Paper challenge with this beautiful moodboard:

Thank you for stopping by. Happy Sunday!
