Hi everyone!

Today I’m back with a OoCZ (Out of Comfort Zone). I was missing terribly creating one of these projects… now I can relax again :)!

I’m entering two challenges:

Mixed Media & Art May Challenge – This time there is a theme, instead of the regular moodboard and sketch. Of course, there are great photos and the beautiful takes of DT members to inspire. Btw, the theme is Architecture. Think buildings, carving, peeled paint and other textures and/or elements, like rusty locks and metal ornaments.

Scrapogoliki – The theme is very useful. We are supposed to use the remains of materials that we spare everyday: paper scraps, bits of lace, negative cuttings, etc. I used real twigs, real bark, a portion of a napkin that I’ve been hoarding since “who knows when”, paper leaves from previous projects, a piece of cotton voile from old curtains, lace and a cereal box.

I created this little scene in a small canvas. This is the kind of place where I would love to live…

Supplies:

Dies: TH/Sizzix – Wild Flowers.

Thank you for stopping by.

This is a brilliant work of mixed media art, Cris! You should be so proud of this canvas! And I love the beautiful lacy linens you used as your photo props! Hugs, Darnell
