Hi everyone!

First of all I would like to thank everyone who left me get well wishes. I really appreciate you! I’m feeling much better, but I’m still having medication… hopefully, everything will soon be fine!

It’s good to be crafty again!

Today I have a very unusual card… any stamps or dies were involved in the making. Just in case you might be wondering… yes, it has paper :). I just used two different stencils – a big butterfly from Litoarte and music words from Cadence – and an embossing folder (Music) from Nellie Snellen.

 

 

I “stamped” the words (using the wrong side, or mirror image if you prefer) with a stencil saturated with Dylusions sprays. The first print was too intense in color, so I spritzed some water to the left over inks in the stencil and got this pastel print. Then used the butterfly stencil with Versamark ink and black EP. Dry embossed a stripe of core’dinations cardstock and then sand :)! EZPZ with a cool effect.

    Ah, stencils, so versatile! This card is just another perfect examples! Love the pastel look, and the large, beautiful butterfly! Nothing is overwhelming the other.. such a perfect balance of elements! Great card, Cris!
