Hello crafty friends!

In the quality of previous challenge winner, I’ll be Guest Designer for May THDC #12. So thrilled!

Please check the inspiration pic below… swoon, right? From colors to elements, everything is so yummy!

Speaking of colors, again my usual complain. In real life they don’t look like the photo I took from my card. The pic I’m showing in my blog is a bit different than the one I sent to the girls at the THDC. I wasn’t happy at all with the deep violet in some of the flowers and sentiment. I’ve colored those flowers with Zig clean color real brush markers 81 and 82, which are much closer to magenta than they are to violet, and are also a perfect match to the glitter craft foam I used for the word “perfect”. So, I worked colors in GIMP and now they are a bit more similar to the actual card, but still not like the real ones. My apologies for the long complaint, but this is something that I find really annoying!

Supplies:

Stamps: Docrafts – Birthday Rose; SSS – To Thine Own Shelf.

That can be annoying indeed – I think it happens especially with blues and purple like colors.. happens a lot with me too.. and then I too use GIMP!! 😀 Great minds, after all! 🙂
Your card, leaving aside the color problem, is absolutely fantastic, Cris! I love those scattered flower bunches.. and your coloring is as amazing as ever! Its the card that’s perfect, I would say! 🙂

I tried GIMP once and failed. This card however is one of my favorites of yours! Thanks so much for guesting and playing with us! We totally love you!

Perfect. The colors. The composition. The fringe along the edge. Yep, perfect.
