And the winner is… drumroll please… hey, what am I talking about? There is only one contestant so, there won’t be any mistakes. Of course the winner is the brave girl performing dangerous acrobatics on a rope, under a very hot sun; the jury is so in love… he didn’t even considered that she can always fly to save her feathery life :).

I used W&W Scenery: Into the Woods Creative Screenings for the trees that I fussy cut, and then stamped Scenery: Into the Woods just with water to react with Distress inks. I used these inks for almost every coloring (blending and water coloring), except the sun and puffy cloud (Tombow markers) and a bit of HA Cup O’Joe for the darkest brown in the front trees.

I don’t have any umbrella stamps, but needed one, so I used an Altenew striped flower along with a die cut twigs from the same brand, and… “voilà” an umbrella! Bonus – it even looks vintage!

The acetate piece that holds the off the page items is showing too much, but the acetate I have is very thin and it wouldn’t hold everything without bending if I had used just a stripe in the right side…

Challenges:

THDC 10 – I didn’t do it on purpose, but I have all the colors in the THC #10 moodboard. The little flower (BG pattern paper) is a kind of golden beige, which turns to shimmery gold with a coat of clear WOS :). And it also fits the theme; this scenario could be in a tropical island…

W&W challenges, the ones that inspired this card:

W&W 3rd Birthday Bash – Off the Page Challenge with Keren and W&W 3rd Birthday Bash – Cute Critter Challenge with Gayatri.

Supplies:

Stamps: Altenew – Striped Flowers; SSS – Color and Sunshine; W&W – Scenery: Into the Woods, So Tweet.

Dies: Altenew – Winter Cardinal; MB – Puffy Clouds; SSS – Flat Bottom Clouds; WF – Greenery.

Thank you for stopping by.

Totally adorable! That’s a wonderful scene you’ve create (I love that little umbrella!). You know, I didn’t use acetate for the same reason too! 😉

Fab card – love the scene and the acetate showing looks intentional to me because of the half moon shape.
