Hello dear friends, readers of the CLC blog and this blog!
Please join me today for a sweet tea party, you are invited! I haven’t used this beautiful Heart Wreath from SSS for quite some time; it’s an oldie but goodie and I really love it… I think it is especially good for Valentine’s season. Fortunately these dies come with extra hearts and leaves, so it was easy to water color two pieces of paper, die cut many shapes at once, and then adhere to the kraft wreath. For a little shimmer, I finished with a generous amount of clear Wink of Stella.
The teapot is from Paper Smooches Coffee & Tea die set, that I cut out from a beautiful pattern paper, the banner is from Clearly Besotted and sentiment is Studio Calico Lisse Street. The scalloped piece is from Winnie & Walter Noelle Cutaways.
That’s it for today! Have a super duper Valentine’s Day with lots of romance and cuddling!
I’m entering a few challenges with this card:
Scrap Therapy “It’s time for tea” – Where I was inspired in first place. The soft feminine tones and sweetness of those images are just beautiful.
THDC 9 – Super adorable mood board and colors. Love the DIY aspect of those pics.
Fusion “Interlocking Hearts” – I have a bit of interlocking hearts. They aren’t interlocked with each other, but they share the same vine :). If you rotate the card 90º to the left, you’ll notice I used also the sketch… kind of.
Thank you for stopping by.
