Today I’m sharing a card using one of my favorite techniques, which is… drumroll please… mixing a lot of products from different brands. It looks like a semi-simple card (is there such thing?), but would you tell that among stamps and dies, not counting papers, embossing powders, etc, there are seven different brands? Yep, it’s true, just check the list of supplies.
I’m loving WOW glitter embossing powders to add color and shimmer to the Holiday Season :). The one I used for the poinsettia is Iced Silver and the one in the berries is Midas Touch. For the sentiment I used a classic – Ranger Liquid Platinum.
I adhered some Prima art stones to the center of poinsettia and then covered with Ranger clear rock candy stickles and dry glitter.
I’m submitting to the following challenges:
Freetany Flowers November Challenge “Light Christmas” – The required element is flowers, but they can be from any brand, or even handmade. We are to be inspired by this amazing mood board:
Scrapclub Kiev Challenge #138: A visit to the Snow Maiden – I was inspired by the cold tones, snow and calm sweet images in this mood board:
Scrapclub-kamchatka: “Required Element” – Choose two elements from this list for a card: cinnamon, Kraft, snowflake, flower, frame, text, tree. I chose flower and woodgrain/tree.
Stamps: CBS – Pretty Poinsettia; SSS – Holiday Borders.
Dies: CaS – Double Stitched Rectangles; CBS – Pretty Poinsettia; MB – Country Landscape; PTI – Scene It: Everyday Die; Sizzix – Circles; Simply Graphic – dies baies et feuillages de Noël.
Thank you for stopping by.
