When I saw this mood board at Scrap Therapy I couldn’t resist making something for this challenge “Moments”. Just take a good look to the photos… aren’t they swoon worthy?
I just had this new, and all time favorite, stencil by Tim Holtz that was begging to be used, and the bottom right corner picture seemed to suit my intentions perfectly. I made my tag inspired by the gorgeous sweater sleeves.
I started by smearing translucent embossing paste over the stencil, and then, after dry, I spread black and ultramarine blue Brushos in high concentration… spritzed with some water and let the magic happen. For the beautiful berries in the basket I used Scrapiniec chipboards and Prima art stones; the sentiment is also from Prima. The flowers are from Miracle Art Studio. And now the surprise… at least it surprised me in how those colorful, fab and modern digital images by Wilna Furstenberg matched so well with the other embellishments in my mixed media tag, I just LOVE the result!
See you soon (hopefully).
Thank you for stopping by.
