Hello everyone!

Today I have something a little bit different. Not a card, not a tag, it almost doesn’t have paper… but there is some hidden paper, so I guess it deserves to be considered as being part of the paper crafting category.

This is my second and last entry to the Winnie & Walter The Gossip Column Nº 5 with Taheerah.

The Gossip Column - Issue 5

The theme is Precious Metals, and among all the sparkling and swoon worth images, there is a stunning dress that I would wear for sure! So, I decided to do a W&W version of that dress, in this case a multifaceted one.

I started by making the shape of the dress (a kind of dress form) by modeling pieces of aluminum foil. Once this step was done, I colored a piece of gauze using silver acrylic paint and HS tinsel color shine, with the purpose to tone down some of the shimmer so that the multifaceted pieces wouldn’t compete too much with the aluminum foil. Then I adhered aluminum tape to a few pieces of cardstock and die cut one True Multifaceted Heart Cutaways to the top front of the dress, one Flawless Diamond Cutaways as the back train, and many True Multifaceted Border Cutaways to compose the skirt.

After those steps, I just adhered everything together and gave shape by crumpling and creasing here and there.

See the chandelier and base? It was from my sister’s doll house, I just thought it would look great with the dress. What do you think?

Have a fun Halloween! Boo to you!

Thank you for stopping by.
