Today I have two cards for the same two challenges, this is the first one. They are both a kind of upcycled cards, at least a bit.
Most days my breakfast is composed by cereals, milk and usually some fruit. Why am I talking about breakfast instead of cards? Because sometimes paper crafting crosses with diet and… ecology :). Recently, the brand of cereals I usually buy, substituted the ugly grayish of their boxes for a beautiful kraft color that I absolutely LOVE! It’s a heavy cardstock and I can use both sides… I just use sandpaper in the outside to remove the printed area. Bonus: if I don’t sand it completely, I’ll end up with a fabulous shabby/grungy wood looking cardstock. This is exactly what I used in my two cards. If you take a good look at all the pictures in the Essentials by Ellen September Pin-Sights Challenge mood board, you can easily spot which one inspired me…
I’m also submitting to Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop.
