I have a Fall & Coffee themed card for the USA National Coffee Day! Of course I will add it to the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop… and a few more challenges. If you haven’t entered the FCLBH yet, don’t forget that tomorrow is the last day, so hurry up!
I stamped and masked some leaves from a Create a Smile stamp set, and then went to town with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours and some Brushos. Then, I stamped a little cup from Altenew with Versamark and heat embossed with gold glitter EP. The sentiment is also from the same CaS stamp set.
I have the cute wood veneer squirrel from SC for quite some time without use (a true NBUS)… he was grey, and I didn’t want a grey squirrel, so I colored the little guy with Distress inks, matching the background, and heat embossed with clear EP. Added a few falling acorns, that he is trying to catch, because everyone knows that acorns in a squirrel’s coffee are like marshmallows in a human’s coffee… nevertheless, so far he only caught one.
I’m submitting this card to Create a Smile September Challenge, focusing on circles.
