Hi everyone!

Today I have a quick and simple post with an also quick and simple and (very) sparkling tag to share.

Grateful

I started by using Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold and Blessings Creative Screenings to outline the word “grateful” in a sheet of a 6”x6” Scor-Tape. Then fussy cut and adhered to the tag, keeping the top lining paper in place. Blended Distress inks to the background and then heat embossed with iridescent EP. Removed the lining paper and covered the word “grateful” with black glitter, burnishing well. To finish off, just in case there wasn’t enough sparkling, I smeared some GA to the saturated (in color) portion of the tag and sprinkled some coarse gold glitter on top. I was inspired by the queen of glow – Taheerah Atchia – to make a tag for the Tag You’re It Challenge #56, where Taheerah is the Featured Artist. I’m also submitting to Winnie & Walter The Gossip Column Nº 5, also with Taheerah in the role of editor and science expert. This time the theme is Precious Metals, and once again you will find plenty of good information and resources about this theme. Bonus – The deadline was extended, so you can participate until 11:55 p.m. CST on October 31, 2016.

This is worthy of the Glitterati with a capital G! Stunning use of glitter, ink blending and touches of gold sparkle! And your kind words made my day! So happy to see you were inspired by my design at Tag You’re It!
