Hello everyone! It’s time for September Prima Challenges here in my blog!
I started my project with a tag, because I was going to enter the CAT (cards and tags) challenge, as I usually do, but using also the gorgeous color combo from the PPP (Prima product pick) challenge. When I noticed, my layout was taking a completely different direction from the CAT sketch provided by Prima – Riikka Kovasin, so I decided to keep the layout as it was and enter the PPP challenge instead.
I started by using gesso and acrylic paints from my stash to color the background, and some thread for texture. I grabbed a sheet of Madeline (04) Prima digital collection to transfer just a bit of the flower images and colors, using matte gel medium. After dried, I used texture paste with a stencil from Vintage Emporium collection, and a stamp (#960957) to add more texture. I stamped the girl Joy bloom in a piece of watercolor paper and colored with watercolors and pencils. Then, I built my layout with a variety of Prima flowers, as well as chipboard and ephemera from different collections. I also used glitters, art stones, the scrumptious metallique dark velvet acrylic paint, and pink mica powder. I’m pleased with the result, I hope you like it too!
Thank you for stopping by.
