Today I’m sharing a collage style card for the CIC.
I’ll be very concise because the deadline is less than an hour away… This was my first take for my guest designer post. I started this card, but I wasn’t pleased with any of my choices to finish it off. Today I had an epiphany when I thought of Matisse. I’m not Matisse, but somehow I relate the die cut shapes with his latest work. The fun about this card is that it is composed of three layers of watercolour paper. From bottom to top: the blue layer is just a piece of plain paper; the second , the orange layer, has a die cut boat and waves; the third, magenta, has the same die cut shapes as the previous plus a circle for the sun. That’s it, and now I have to run!
I’m sorry for the really bad photo :(.
