How are you today?

Well, I’m in the mood for weddings and tropical places… not necessarily in the same card.

Altenew July Inspiration Challenge is focused on weddings, and I made an nontraditional wedding greeting card.

I started by inking directly on the Dodec Cover Die with yellow, pink and green Distress inks, using a brayer, and then dry embossing onto watercolor paper. Scattered some Iridescent EP and heat embossed.

Then die cut each animal from Baby Zoo twice; one group was left in white to use as light, and the other three animals lightly inked with the same soft colors in the background and coated with WOS. Heat embossed the sentiment in vellum using Fools Gold embossing glitter, and then added a single white Prima flower as embellishment.

Would you do a wedding card with animals in it? Please stay tuned because (hopefully) there will be a follow up providing more sense to the whole set :).

Certainly curious…I am not sure I would add animals, unless they are depicted as the bride and groom! 😉
But love the background – haven’t tried brayer on a die yet..don’t have a decent brayer in the first place…
And the flower looks gorgeous! Love the soft and elegant look.
