Hello!

This is a quick (almost) one layer card for the July Waffle Flower Challenge. You can see the inspiration picture below.

I started by masking the biggest die cut shape from the beautiful Lacy Flowers die set, so I could selectively color each petal with a different color, like the palette from the inspiration picture. Then I did the same masking and ink blending to the card base. I was thinking of doing the multicolored sunburst all around the card, but then I changed my mind and cropped the colored lacy flower in halves. After this I die cut a white flower, that I also cut in halves, adhering the white half to the white portion of card base, and the colored half to the colored portion of the card base. I added two thin stripes of black and glitter gold cardstock as a finishing touch, and heat embossed the sentiment in white, onto a tiny piece of black cardstock. The end!

XOXO

Quite different from what I am used to seeing from you – and that makes it pretty charming! 😉 Loving the charming die and that color burst!
