Hello crafty friends!
As you may have noticed before I love a wide range of styles, and lately I’ve been loving this particular style a little bit more every day. I have the pleasure to present you the Prima ballerina, literally… because I made this card to enter the new Prima cards and tags challenge!
Vintage Emporium papers are GORGEOUS and fortunately each design comes in groups of four sheets, which is great because I can change my mind without being afraid of running out of my favorite design.
I made a dress with some beautiful old lace and decided to add a little white feather (difficult to see in the picture… look to her shoulder, above the word “glow”) as a reference to Tchaikowsky’s Swan Lake, one of the most popular ballets and a personal favorite. See the four visible ballerinas on the bottom right corner? They are my interpretation of the four items in the sketch. I used some Scrapiniec chipboards, a Tim Holtz stencil with modeling paste heat embossed with iridescent EP, and a few sparkling sequins as accents and embellishments. I really love it!
