Hello crafters!

September is a fact! Adults and children are busy preparing to go back to school. Others are having fun with their new (or old) Halloween goodies… and I am seeing stars 😊!

I think this is my first time entering Seize the Birthday challenge, so I decided to have everything: the “cake” plus the topping – “A Square Card”. What is better than a square card? A square shaker card, of course!!!

I had some difficulties taking a photo. Usually it’s not easy photographing acetate, but when you have a thin and wonky acetate sheet is even worse… every photo looks different. You can see two more pics below.

I made this galaxy background many months ago (maybe a year), I just finished yesterday. There aren’t almost any stamps involved in the making, except a small LZ stamp called “Twinkling stars”, the white more visible dots. I used watercolors, a bit of white acrylic paint and a few different embossing powders.

The galaxy background is gorgeous, so realistic looking and I do agree, nothing better than a shaker card! The black frame really makes the galaxy ‘pop’. Anne xx

Oh wow!! It looks like you’ve taken a piece of ancient galaxy material (you know what I mean) and put it there!! Love the way you’ve created the peeking moon (?? or maybe a planet) and the thousands of stars in the galaxy! I’m going ga ga over it! Thank you for joining the Seize the Birthday challenge too!!

You should have done a video for us of this process, Cris! It is incredibly beautiful and making it a shaker card just takes it, well, over the moon!! Hugs, Darnell
