Hi everyone!

How is your summer going so far? Hope you are having a great time!

After a break from paper crafting, I’ve been learning new stuff and doing old stuff, like sewing, something I haven’t done for a long time, except some things here and there that needed to be “upcycled”.

Although I’ve been enjoying creating other than paper projects, I’ve missed paper crafting… but that is fixed for now, as I have a new card today.

There is a challenge going on over Freetany Flowers blog. It consists in a pacific “battle” between sweets and fruits. Who will win?

I combined last month’s and this month’s themes, with a twist… instead of sweets vs fruits, I have weddings vs fruits. Love is sweet, right 😊?

Quick tip – How to make the berries.

Gather any glue suitable for polystyrene, I used UHU por. Squeeze some glue to a nonstick surface and wait a few moments until the glue hardens a bit, then toss some micro polystyrene beads to the glue and shape your berries the size you want. Use toothpicks to let your berries dry completely and then paint them with acrylic paint. Use a dry brush and a bit of almost dry gesso to enhance lighter areas for a realistic touch.

If you have nonstick gloves it will be great, otherwise you may end up with a sticky mess… ask me how I know. Hope this is useful!

Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your summer!

So lovely! The florals and the die cuts look so charming, and I can’t believe you’ve made those delectable berries yourself! Wow!
